For the grace of God has been revealed, bringing salvation to all people. —Titus 2:11 NLT
But God has shown us how much he loves us—it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us! —Romans 5:8 GNT

For the past few weeks, we have been discussing the marvelous and amazing Grace of God. We’ve also been watching the TV drama series “The Chosen” and observed the role of Judas in the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus.
The whole story got me thinking—What if Judas had witnessed Jesus’ resurrection? Would he have approached Jesus and asked for forgiveness? Would he have still joined the apostles and contributed to the spread of the gospel to the rest of the world? Would he have been humbled enough to do all this? Or would guilt and shame still have led him down the same path of suicide and destruction?
One thing I know is that if Judas had the opportunity to ask for Jesus’ forgiveness, Jesus would have wholeheartedly and fully forgiven and restored him. Likewise, no matter who you are and what you have done, Jesus Christ is waiting with arms wide open to receive and forgive you. Just like He did with Peter, who denied knowing Him on three occasions and one of the criminals that hung on the cross beside Him:
“‘And we indeed justly, for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.’ And he said, ‘Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom.’ And he said to him, ‘Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.’” Luke 23:41–43 (ESV)
Jesus said: “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20 (ESV)
Jesus is waiting, He is calling and knocking, you just need to respond to His call today and let Him into your heart. Don’t let anything hold you back, even if you have been in the church for a while and you are unsure of your salvation, just ask or invite Him into your heart again; He won’t scold you, in fact, He will appreciate your honesty.
Come to Him as you are and come to Him today. Don’t let your life be a “What if?”.
Stay blessed,
