Far Above Them All (Part 1)

…[A]ccording to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. — Ephesians 1:19-21 NKJV

Do you sometimes feel like certain people or groups of people, or organisations have absolute control of what goes on in the world? You hear of certain names or organisations, and you immediately associate or connect that name or group with influence and power e.g. The G20 Nations, European Union (EU), United Nations (UN), the President of the United States, World Bank, and so on.

The fact is some names, groups, or organisations do indeed wield power and they make some decisions which affect the rest of the world. However, we must understand that God alone holds the ultimate power, and He alone controls the affairs of man. He puts a limit on the amount of power and influence exercised by human beings.

The world has had people, leaders and governments who exercised great power during their time but today they are no more. Notably of these are the Greek, Babylonian, and Ottoman Empires, and Hitler to mention a few.

Subsequently, those who wield power today, they too will be no more tomorrow. Only the inerrant and infallible word of God will remain and last forever. And the name and person of Jesus Christ stands above them all. Jesus said, Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” Matthew 24:35 (NKJV)

When you look at what is happening in our primary school educational system, you see a system that is twisted and broken. The “genderisation and sexualisation” of children as young as 4 years old in the classrooms of our schools is shocking and alarming. Primary school education should be about learning how to read, write, count, learning about moral behaviours and basic life skills.

You sometimes wonder what type of future these children will have with the nonsense they are being exposed to at this tender age! You wonder who in their right mind would think of, promulgate, legislate, draw up or agree to such policies or curriculum!

The truth is that there are principalities and powers behind some of these issues. These teachings, laws, and policies are borne out from the realm of the dark spirit world controlled by Satan.

Sadly, some so-called Christian leaders sympathise with proponents of the genderisation and sexualisation policies in our schools. These leaders know the truth of what the Bible teaches but choose to be either silent or openly in support of the policies.

The Bible talks about our struggles not being with people made of flesh and blood. We will discuss this a little bit more in the next blog.

Stay blessed,
