Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good… Genesis 1:26-27 & 31 NKJV

Wow! What a privilege to know that you did not “just happen”. You are not a product of a blind random accidental occurrence or circumstances as the evolutionist would have you believe.
A lot of thought went into you. Yes, God intricately shaped you right inside your mother’s womb. You are fearfully, marvellously, and wonderfully made, what a creation!
It is an awesome privilege to know that we are created or made in the image of a breathtakingly intelligent designer God.
Man is superior to animals and other created things in many ways. Man is distinct and unique because he possesses moral, intellectual, and spiritual capabilities. We are a masterpiece of His workmanship having all the divine attributes of God such as the ability and capacity to love, to reason, to feel, to choose, to fellowship etc.
We are created to be God’s representatives here on earth. We are God’s image to reflect His nature, His love, grace, righteousness, and holiness. Our life should reflect everything about the nature of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.
Just as one who rents a furnished house, and all they need to do is move in and start enjoying the benefit and beauty of the house, so it is that God made everything man would need for sustenance, for work and for recreation before man was created. This speaks of God’s divine provision and sustaining grace over man. So, whenever you are experiencing a lack, just remember that God has already made provision to meet that lack.
God made man to have dominion and “be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth’’. Not only did God give man dominion, but He also blessed them saying, “Prosper! Reproduce! Fill the Earth! Take charge!…” (vs 27-28 The Message)
After making man, God looked back on what He had made and was convinced what He made was “very good’’—exceptionally and incredibly good.
See yourself as God sees you, exceptionally and incredibly beautiful. Do not ever look down on yourself. God never made a mistake concerning you. You are beautiful in the eyes of your creator and you should believe it, accept it, and celebrate that truth.
Continue to glow in the image of your Maker.
Merry Christmas and stay blessed,
Alex
