Look For Me

For God has not destined us to [incur His] wrath [that is, He did not select us to condemn us], but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died [willingly] for us, so that whether we are awake (alive) or asleep (dead) [at Christ’s appearing], we will live together with Him [sharing eternal life]. Therefore, encourage and comfort one another and build up one another, just as you are doing. 1 Thessalonians 5: 9-11 AMP

As the gate of heaven opens and ushers in the redeemed, what a scene of celebration that day would be! As friends and families reunited once again, just look for me for I will be there too.

Look for me for I will be there too beholding His beauty, hearing how we made it through; look for me, hope you will be there too as we gather at His feet around the throne worshiping His majesty.

He said in His Father’s house there are many dwelling places. He said He’s going there to prepare a place for us and if He goes and prepares a place for us, He said He’ll surely come back again and take us to Himself, so that where He is, we may be also.

Hmm! I have often wondered what that place looks like! Come to think of it, apart from Him who came from there, no one has ever been there and back to tell us or describe what that place looks like. Even though quite a few people over time have attempted to describe the place. I am sure nothing will prepare us for what we will experience when we get there.

I have heard some people say that when they see Him face to face, they will ask this and other questions. Well, I think we will be too enamoured and consumed by the beauty and glory of His presence to ask any questions or to even think like humans.

In fact, I believe every question we’ve ever asked or wanted to ask here on earth, every mystery and every “unexplainable”, as we bask in His awesome presence, the answer will be revealed and unquestionable. We will finally become knowledgeable as we know the answer to a lot of earth’s mysteries.

Remember, as we stand in the presence of the Son with all the saints that made it through, look for me for I must be there too.

Look for me for I will be there too beholding His beauty, hearing how we made it through; hope you will be there too as we gather at His feet around the throne worshiping His majesty.

The essence of our belief is that one day we will live and reign with Him forever.

So, look for me, because I will be there at the feet of the King; hope you will be there too.
